Danboline protects bilges, lockers and bulkheads against moisture penetration and wear and tear. Danboline will resist oil and fuel spillage and cleans easily.
* High opacity for excellent covering power
* Hard wearing
APPLICATION AND USE
Preparation
PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES
In Good Condition: Wash down with Super Cleaner, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 180280
grade paper.
In Poor Condition: Remove all previous coatings and prime the substrate.
PRIMING: All preparation for bare substrates is covered on the appropriate primer datasheet.
BARE WOOD: Prime with One UP or Interprotect.
STEEL: Prime with One UP or Interprotect.
ALUMINIUM: Prime with One UP or Interprotect.
GRP (GELCOAT): Wash down with Super Cleaner, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 180220 grade
paper. Particular attention should be given to the reverse side of moulded GRP. No priming necessary.
Method Sand the primer using 180280 grade wet or dry paper. Remove dust with a dust wipe. Apply 12 coats.
Hints Mixing Stir well before use.
Thinner Thinner No.1
Cleaner Thinner No.1
Ventilation and Humidity Control Apply in dry, well ventilated conditions.
Other For added protection against moisture absorption and osmosis in the bilges, use Gelshield products.
