International Interdeck 750ml

Interdeck provides an excellent slip resistant finish. It contains a fine aggregate and will apply easily on all substrates.

APPLICATION AND USE:

Preparation: 

PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES
In Good Condition Wash down with Super Cleaner, rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Abrade with 280­320
grade (grit) paper.
In Poor Condition Remove all previous coatings and prime the substrate.
PRIMING All preparation for bare substrates is covered on the appropriate primer datasheet.
BARE WOODSand smooth with 80­180 grade paper and then 280 grade paper. Remove sanding dust by brushing,
dusting and wiping. If wiping with solvent then allow to dry completely before applying products recommended for
application direct to wood (see specific coating systems).
STEEL Degrease with solvent, Super Cleaner or a suitable liquid detergent. Gritblast to Sa 2½ ­ near white metal
surface. If gritblasting is not possible, grind the metal surface with 24­36 grit abrasive discs to a uniform, clean, bright
metal surface with a 50­75 microns anchor pattern. Use angle grinder on small areas. Clean thoroughly and allow to dry.
Pre­prime using an International primer as detailed for specific coating systems.
ALUMINIUM Degrease with solvent, Super Cleaner or a suitable liquid detergent. Sand well using 24­120 grade
(aluminium compatible) paper. Coarser grades are recommended to achieve optimum adhesion. Clean thoroughly and
allow to dry. Pre­prime using an International primer as soon as possible (within 8 hours) as detailed for specific coating
systems.
GRP Degrease with solvent, Super Cleaner or a suitable liquid detergent. Sand well using 60­120 grade paper. Clean
thoroughly and allow to dry. Pre­prime using an International primer as detailed for specific coating systems.
AGED/WEATHERED GELCOATS Due to the potentially porous nature of aged/weathered gelcoats the risk of
solvent/moisture entrapment after painting is much higher than when gelcoat is new. As a result this entrapment could
lead to blistering of the paint film. To reduce the risk of paint film blistering it is recommended that 3 coats of Interprotect
are applied to seal the gelcoat. Interprotect must be overcoated with the appropriate undercoat/primer depending on the
application method prior to topcoat application. Please speak to your local sales representative for more information.
ALL SUBSTRATES If any filling is required use the appropriate product from the International range .
Method Sand the primer with 180­220 grade wet or dry paper. Remove dust with a dust wipe. Apply 1­2 coats.

Some Important Points Formulated for exterior use.
Product temperature should be minimum 10°C/50°F and maximum 30°C/86°F.
Ambient temperature should be minimum 5°C/41°F and maximum 35°C/95°F.
Substrate temperature should be minimum 5°C/41°F and maximum 35°C/95°F.
Compatibility/Substrates Suitable for all substrates and filled surfaces. Not suitable for permanently immersed surfaces. Do not clean with highly
alkaline cleaners.
